Players can get points for putting the bag into the hole in the board. If the bag hits the board and stays there, players also get points. Each bag that falls off the board is not worth any points. People can play the cornhole game in a singles match with one person competing against another. The cornhole game can also be played in teams of two. When doubles are played two cornhole boards are used. Separate boards are needed for each team. The same board is used by both people when they play doubles.

The cornhole game can be a fun pastime for those that are more interested in the old-fashioned games.
